Karla is a traveling visual artist, and children’s book illustrator currently living in Chattanooga, TN. She has a passion for creating art that uplifts and celebrates black beauty and culture.
Through every brushstroke and story, her aim is to reclaim space, restore representation, and honor the richness, resilience, and beauty of black women. Art has the power to heal, to affirm, and to tell the stories we’ve been missing — and she’s ready to be part of that shift.
